Bihar STET 2025 Exam Announcement
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the schedule for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025. This examination will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) starting from October 14. Candidates can access their admit cards on the official website, bsebstet.org, beginning October 11, using their user ID and password.
Application Process
Initially, the exam was set to take place between October 12 and October 31. However, due to delays in the application process, the timeline has been revised. The new deadline for submitting applications for STET 2025 is October 5. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the board's website, bsebstet.org. Successful candidates will receive a lifetime valid certificate, allowing them to apply for future BPSC teacher recruitment.

Future Job Opportunities
Education Minister Sunil Kumar has indicated that more than 26,000 positions will be advertised in the BPSC TRE-4. Should there be any unfilled seats, they will be included in TRE-5.
Exam Format and Subjects
The STET will feature multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each question worth one mark and no negative marking.
Paper 1 (Secondary): Includes over 15 subjects such as Hindi, English, Urdu, Sanskrit, social science, mathematics, science, physical education, music, fine arts, and dance.
Paper 2 (Higher Secondary): Encompasses over 20 subjects including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, history, geography, political science, commerce, agriculture, and computer science.
A total of 150 questions will be presented, comprising 100 subject-specific questions and 50 assessing teaching efficiency and other skills.
Passing Marks
Minimum Passing Marks:
- General: 50%
- OBC: 45.5%
- Extremely Backward Class: 42.5%
- SC/ST/Divyang/Women: 40%
