Bihar Board Extends Application Deadline for Intermediate Annual Examination 2026

Application Deadline Extended

The Bihar School Examination Board has announced an extension for the online application deadline for the Intermediate Annual Examination 2026. Students now have until October 22nd to submit their applications, while the deadline for paying examination fees is set for October 21st.

Previously, the application deadline was October 12th, but the Board has opted to extend this date to facilitate student participation.

Steps to Apply for the Intermediate Examination

Students wishing to register for the Bihar Intermediate Examination can do so online by visiting the Board's official website at http://seniorsecondary.biharboardonline.com until the new deadline. As per the Board's guidelines, only those students who have a dummy enlistment or registration card, which includes a signed declaration from their parents, guardians, and the principal of their institution, are eligible to apply for the 2026 Intermediate Annual Examination.

Students who fail to upload their registration card will not be allowed to apply for the examination, and consequently, their admit cards will not be issued. The principals of educational institutions are responsible for downloading the original enlistment and examination application forms from the Board's website and distributing them to students. Additionally, if a student encounters issues applying online after paying their fees, they will have a two-day grace period post the fee payment deadline to complete their application.

Changes in Enrollment Process

The Bihar School Examination Board has also announced that the intermediate-level teaching and enrollment process in degree colleges across the state will cease from the 2024-2026 session. However, eligible students from previous sessions can still apply online and submit fees through the same degree colleges.
