Bihar Board 12th Examination Notice

Important Announcement: The Bihar Examination Board has released a crucial notice for students preparing for the Intermediate Annual Examination for the 2026 session. The Board has emphasized that students must upload their signed dummy enrolment certificates to the Board's portal; failure to do so will result in ineligibility to apply for the examination or receive an admit card.

Obtaining Enrolment Certificates and Application Forms

Students will receive the original enrolment certificates and examination application forms from their educational institution's head. It is essential for students to collect these documents promptly and be ready to fill out the online application. The application window will be open from September 19, 2025, to October 5, 2025, and timely application is mandatory for all students.

Mandatory Uploading of Dummy Enrolment Certificates

Requirement for Uploading Certificates:
Students and their guardians must upload the signed dummy enrolment certificates, which should also bear the signature of the educational institution's head, to the Board's portal. Those who fail to upload these certificates will not be allowed to sit for the examination and will not receive their admit cards. Compliance with this requirement is crucial for all students.

Application Submission Process

Steps for Filling the Examination Application:
Students are required to fill out the application form in duplicate, as per their enrolment certificate, and submit it to the Principal. The Principal will sign and stamp one copy for the students while retaining the other. It is the Principal's responsibility to verify the accuracy of the information provided in the application. Students can then proceed to apply online until October 5, 2025.

Extended Application Deadline

Additional Time for Application:
If a student is unable to complete the online application despite having paid the fee, they will be granted an additional opportunity to do so. These students can fill out the online application within two days following October 3, 2025, extending the deadline to October 5, 2025. This extension allows the Principal two extra days to finalize applications for their students.

New Subject Scheme Implementation

It is important to note that the new subject scheme has been in effect since the Intermediate Annual Examination of 2021. According to this scheme, only students who meet the specified eligibility criteria can participate in the Intermediate Annual Examination for 2026.
