AIIMS NORCET 11: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has officially announced the commencement of the application process for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 11. This recruitment is for Nursing Officer roles at AIIMS Delhi and other affiliated AIIMS institutions. Interested candidates can submit their applications until 5:00 PM on August 13.


Vacancies and Eligibility Criteria

**Vacancies to be Confirmed**
The exact number of Nursing Officer positions available has yet to be disclosed. AIIMS will provide this information at a later date. Selected candidates will be appointed at Level 7 of the pay matrix.


**Eligibility Requirements**
Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old as of August 13, 2026. Additional eligibility criteria include:



  • Completion of a B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing, or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree.


  • Registration as a Nurse or Midwife with the State or Indian Nursing Council.


  • Holders of a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma may apply if they have two years of experience in a 50-bed hospital and are registered.

  3. A new page will open; register and complete the application form.


  4. Upload the necessary documents and photographs.


  5. Pay the application fee online.


  6. Submit the application form by clicking the submit button.

Selection Process

AIIMS NORCET 11 Selection Process
The selection will occur in two stages. The first stage is the NORCET Preliminary Examination (Prelims), tentatively set for September 12, 2026. Candidates who pass this stage will then take the NORCET Main Examination (Mains) on September 30, 2026. Those who succeed will undergo document verification and a medical examination based on their merit.
