XAT 2025 Exam: Registration Started, Important Dates and Details

The Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur has initiated the registration process for XAT 2025. Here are the key details candidates need to know:

Registration and Important Dates:

• Registration Start Date: July 15
• Registration End Date: November-end
• Application Correction Window: Last week of November to first week of December
• Admit Card Release: Third week of December
• Exam Date: January 5

Exam Centres:

• XAT 2025 will be conducted across more than 100 test centres including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, and others.

How to Apply for XAT 2025:

1. Visit the official website of XAT at xatonline.in.
2. Click on the “Registration” option and create a new account.
3. Login using your credentials, select a preferred city, and upload your photo and signature.
4. Choose nationality, select programmes, and fill in required details.
5. Pay the registration fee online or offline (Rs 2,200 for XAT 2025, additional Rs 200 per programme for XLRI programmes).
6. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

Exam Pattern:

• Mode: Online
• Sections: Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA and LR), Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation (QA and DI), Decision-making (DM), General Knowledge (GK), Analytical Essay Writing (AEW)
• Duration: 3 hours 25 minutes
• Marking Scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer, -0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, no negative marking for unanswered questions beyond 8 consecutive questions in VA, LR, QA, DI, DM sections; no penalty for incorrect answers in GK section.
