West Bengal HS 12th Result 2023 Released: 7.37 lakh students pass, Subhrangsu Sardar is the topper

More than 8 lakh students who appeared for the examination can now check their results on the official websites, wbchse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in. In order to qualify the exam, WB Board students must obtain a minimum of 33 percent of the total points on the WBCHSE class 12 exam, as well as 20 percent on the practical exams.

This year, 89.25 percent of West Bengal Class 12th students have successfully cleared the examination. Among the students, boys have achieved a pass percentage of 91.86. A total of 7,37807 West Bengal class 12th students have qualified the board examination. While this year's percentage is slightly better than last year's, it has declined compared to the results of 2021 and 2020. In 2022, as many as 90.19 percent of boys passed the examination, surpassing the pass percentage of girls. The pass rate for WB class 12th girls in 2022 was 87.49 percent.

In terms of district-wise performance, East Midnapore students have achieved the highest pass percentage of 95.75 percent in the WBBSE result. It is important to note that the online Class 12 Result 2023 will be provisional, and the council will distribute hard copies of the mark sheets starting from May 31. Students are required to collect their original mark sheets from their school authorities. It should be noted that provisional mark sheets are not considered credible during the admission process for higher education, so students should obtain their original mark sheets as soon as possible.

In the West Bengal class 12 exam of 2022, the overall pass percentage was 88.44 percent, with 6,36,875 students passing the HS exam. The pass percentage for boys was 90.19 percent, while for girls, it was 86.58 percent. Last week, WBBSE announced the Class 10 results, with a total of 2016779 students successfully clearing the secondary examination. This year, the pass percentage for the Madhyamik Pariksha was 93.12 percent.
