West Bengal Board Declares 10th Grade Exam Results for 2025

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has officially released the results for the Madhyamik (10th grade) examination for the year 2025. Students can access their mark sheets starting from 9:45 AM on the official websites - result.wbbsedata.com, wbbse.wb.gov.in, and wbresults.nic.in. Additionally, results can also be checked via SMS and DigiLocker.

This Year’s Top Achiever
The top scorer for the Madhyamik examination 2025 is Adrita Sarkar, who secured an impressive 696 out of 700 marks (99.43%). She is a student at Raiganj Coronation High School in North Dinajpur. Following her, two students, Anubhav Biswas from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Malda, and Soumya Pal from Bankura High School, both achieved 694 marks (99.14%). Ishani Chakraborty, a student from Talatupur Sarojbashini Girls' School, Bankura, secured the third position with 693 marks (99%).
Increased Number of Top Scorers
66 Students in the Top 10
This year, 66 students made it to the top 10 list, surpassing last year's count of 59. The results indicate that a total of 969,425 students participated in the examination, which is an increase of 56,827 compared to the previous year.
Re-evaluation Process
Apply for Re-evaluation if Unsatisfied
The Madhyamik exams were conducted from February 10 to February 22, 2025, with results declared after a span of 70 days. Students who fail in one or two subjects will have the opportunity to take compartment exams. Additionally, those who are not satisfied with their scores can apply for re-evaluation.
Passing Marks Requirement
Minimum Marks to Pass
To pass the examination, students must achieve at least 272 marks (34%) out of a total of 800. Schools can collect the mark sheets and passing certificates from their designated camp offices starting at 10 AM.
