UGC NET 2024 Schedule Change: August 26 Exam Deferred on Account of Janmashtami

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the schedule for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 exam. Originally scheduled for August 26, the exam will now take place on August 27, 2024, due to Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The rest of the exam dates remain as planned, from August 21 to September 4, 2024.

How to Download UGC NET 2024 Exam City Slip:

1. Visit the Official Website:

   • Go to ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

2. Access the Exam City Slip:

   • Click on the notification link “UGC NET exam city intimation slip 2024” available on the homepage.

3. Enter Details:

   • Provide your birthdate, application number, and security pin.

4. View and Download:

   • The exam city slip will appear on the screen. Download and save it for future reference.

UGC NET Exam 2024 Details:

• Exam Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Duration: 3 hours
• Paper I: 50 questions (2 marks each) – General Awareness, Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension
• Paper II: 100 questions (2 marks each) – Subject-specific
• Language of Question Paper: English and Hindi (as chosen during registration)
• No Negative Marking
