UGC NET 2023 result awaited at ugcnet.nta.nic.in

The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) results for Phases I-V will be announced soon by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The examination authority aims to release the results by March 30, but an official confirmation from NTA is pending. Students can access their scorecards by visiting the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The cut-off marks, which are determined by factors such as the difficulty level of the exam and number of registered candidates, can also be viewed on the website for further employment process.

To check the UGC NET results, students can follow the steps given below.

  • Firstly, they must visit the official website of UGC NET, and
  • then click on the NTA UGC NET result 2023 link on the homepage.
  • After entering the required details and uploading the necessary documents, they can click on the submit button to view their results.
  • The results can be downloaded by clicking on the download icon.

In addition to the results, NTA will also be releasing the final answer key for UGC NET 2023. The provisional answer key was released on March 23, and candidates had the option to challenge it until March 25, as per the public notice issued by NTA. The exam was conducted in 83 subjects across 663 examination centres in 186 cities in five phases, spanning over 16 days in 32 shifts. The total number of registered candidates for UGC NET 2022 was 8,34,537.

The NTA is responsible for conducting UGC NET, which determines the eligibility of Indian citizens for the jobs of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor in Indian Universities and Colleges. UGC NET is conducted twice a year, in June and December. However, due to the COVID pandemic in 2020 and 2021, NTA merged the cycles and conducted them together. To ensure better regulation, NTA is conducting the UGC NET 2022 December cycle in February and March 2023, in accordance with UGC guidelines.
