UGC NET 2023 December Session result awaited on ugcnet.nta.nic.in, check cut off marks, scorecard details

The UGC NET 2023 results are expected to be released soon by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Upon announcement, candidates can check their scorecards on the official UGC website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The provisional answer key was released on March 23, and candidates had the opportunity to raise queries until March 25 if they were not satisfied with the answers. To pass the exam, unreserved category candidates must secure at least 40 percent, while reserved category candidates must secure at least 35 percent. Each paper must be passed separately and in aggregate. The UGC NET June 2023 cycle exam is scheduled for June 13, and successful candidates will be eligible for teaching positions in various universities and colleges across the country.

To check their scorecard once the results are out, candidates can follow these simple steps: visit ugcnet.nta.nic.in, click on the UGC Net 2023 result link on the homepage, enter their login details on the new page that pops up, and click on the submit option. The UGC Net results will appear on the screen, and candidates can download and print out their scorecard for future reference.

The exam consisted of two papers, with 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper I tested candidates on general knowledge, reasoning ability, comprehension, and divergent thinking, while paper II was based on the subject chosen by the candidate. The UGC Net December 2022 was conducted in five phases between February and March for 83 subjects, with 663 examination centres in 186 cities across the country. There were 8,34,537 candidates registered for UGC NET 2022, with Phase I held from February 21 to 24, followed by Phase II from February 28 to March 3, Phase III from March 3 to 6, Phase IV scheduled for March 11 & 12, and Phase V conducted from March 13 to 16.
