Three Arrested in Indore for Creating Fake Mark Sheets

In a significant crackdown, Indore police have arrested three individuals, including a cyber café operator, for allegedly creating fake mark sheets. This operation targeted unemployed youth, charging hefty fees for counterfeit documents. The police have seized numerous fake mark sheets and are conducting further investigations into the illegal activities that have reportedly been ongoing for several years. This incident highlights the ongoing issue of fraud in educational documentation, raising concerns about the integrity of academic qualifications.
 

Arrests Made in Indore for Fraudulent Activities



In Indore district, Madhya Pradesh, law enforcement has apprehended three individuals, including a cyber café operator, on charges of producing counterfeit mark sheets. The arrests were made on Monday, as confirmed by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Amarendra Singh.


Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested the suspects—Javed Khan, Mohammad Azharuddin, and Mohammad Riaz—in the Khajrana police station area.


Singh reported that numerous fake mark sheets were seized from Javed Khan, the cyber café operator. He elaborated, "Javed and his associates created fraudulent mark sheets for students from school to college levels, charging between ₹20,000 to ₹50,000 for each document."


Preliminary investigations indicate that the trio has been involved in these illegal activities for the past two to three years. The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
