Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2023 Registrations Extended to July 12
The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the Tamil Nadu National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2023 counselling. The updated schedule allows candidates to apply for the counselling procedure until July 12, 5 PM. This decision comes in response to multiple requests from applicants who sought an extension for the MBBS/BDS Courses registration deadline for the academic year 2023-2024. Initially, the deadline for application submission was set for July 10. Eligible candidates can complete the counselling application process at tnmedicalselection.net.
According to the official statement issued by the TN Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), "It is informed that as many representations have been received from candidates, it is proposed to extend the process for receipt of applications in MBBS/BDS Courses for the academic year 2023-2024 session."
To apply for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling, follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website for TN NEET UG 2023 Counselling, tnmedicalselection.net.
Step 2: On the homepage, select the link labeled "online applications of MBBS and BDS degree courses" to access the online registration portal.
Step 3: Prior to commencing the registration process, carefully review the prospectus. Once done, click on the application form link.
Step 4: Sign in using your credentials, such as name, email address, and phone number.
Step 5: After registering, log in with your application number and password.
Step 6: Enter your personal details and submit any required documents.
Step 7: Save the TN NEET UG 2023 Counselling application form, submit it, and pay the application fees.
Step 8: Keep a printout of the TN NEET UG 2023 Counselling application form for future reference.
The registration fee for the TN NEET UG 2023 counselling is Rs 500, which can be paid online on the website. Candidates belonging to the SC/SCA/ST categories are exempt from paying the application fee. Additionally, a security deposit of Rs 30,000 is required for government quota seats and Rs 1,000,000 for management quota seats. In the event that a candidate assigned a seat in the Second Round or subsequent rounds fails to enroll at the designated institution, the Security Deposit will be forfeited. Candidates can participate in the first, mop-up, and stray rounds, but please note that new registrations are not permitted for round 2.
