Schooling in Bhopal-based Sanskrit Institute stalled, preparation of disciples incomplete
The study of session 2020-21 has come to a standstill in the Bhopal Campus (Old Sanskrit Sansthan) of Central Sanskrit University. As per the order of the UGC, this session will end by August 31, but the syllabus of most of the subjects has not progressed beyond 20 per cent. The main reason for this is the non-reinstatement of guest and contract teachers. In such a situation, how will there be online education and examination and how will the result be made? Under the rules, contract and guest lecturers are given a break of one month in May after 10 months. During this, summer vacation is also held in the institute. Thereafter reinstatement takes place with the permission of the Vice-Chancellor. The Central University-status Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi, has yet to reinstate the teachers sent on break due to the absence of a vice-chancellor, while they should have been reinstated from June 22. Same is the case with the campuses of the university located across the country. In such a situation, these teachers are facing financial problems, while teaching work is also getting affected.
Same situation across the country: Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, Bhopal’s Bagh Mugaliya have 12 campuses across the country, in which grammar, astrology, Vedas, Jain philosophy, Vedanta, literature, justice along with computer, history etc. are taught in Sanskrit. Is. Class 11th to PhD studies are conducted in Bhopal campus. There are six guest and seven contract teachers. Similarly, there are 171 such teachers across the country, who are given a month’s break every year at the end of the academic session. After a month, reinstatement has been done, but this year after giving a break, these temporary professors have not been re-appointed. The main reason for this is being told that there is no Vice Chancellor. Bhupendra Pandey, a temporary teacher of Bhopal campus, said that the affected temporary professors have sent a letter to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan demanding that these temporary professors should be reinstated before the appointment of the Vice Chancellor in the university, so that the studies of the current academic session remain uninterrupted. can be completed. Along with this, these professors can be saved from the inconvenience being faced in the upbringing of their families.
Due to the retirement of the Vice-Chancellor in the headquarters and the appointment of a new Vice-Chancellor, the studies of the students are getting affected. In view of the problems of the students, the temporary teachers are helping us, but the restoration should be done soon.
