The Rajasthan Medical Council (RMC) is set to commence the application process for the Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI) for the academic year 2024-25. Eligible medical graduates are invited to register on the official website, rmcjaipur.org, starting from June 17. The internship application timeline has been detailed on the website for candidates' convenience.

Applications for internship seats will be accepted on a pro-rata basis, considering the total number of non-teaching hospitals (affiliated medical colleges) in the state. It's essential to note that the Rajasthan Medical Council reserves the right to reject applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria. Online counseling will be conducted only for candidates selected in a single and final round, who will then proceed to enroll in colleges within the stipulated medical deadline.

The merit list will be compiled based on the scores obtained in the National Board of Examination (NBE). Two merit lists will be generated by the Rajasthan Medical Council:

  • Merit List 1: Candidates must hold a residency certificate of Rajasthan, based on NBE score, and have completed their 10+2 education from recognized boards like CBSE or the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education.

  • Merit List 2: Candidates residing in other states and prepared based on NBE scores. This list will include the scores/marks obtained by out-of-state candidates.

Candidates who have previously completed internships through the council are ineligible for this online counseling. Any attempt to reapply will result in rejection of the application. Upon declaration of election results, selected candidates must commence the internship program promptly upon publication of the list on the Rajasthan Medical Council's official website. It's emphasized that any false information or document discovered during the application or internship process may lead to rejection of the application form, with the candidate held accountable.
