RPSC Announces Interview Schedule for RAS 2024 Phase-I

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) in Ajmer has officially released the interview dates for Phase-I of the RAS 2024. Candidates who have successfully cleared the mains examination must now focus on preparing for the interview. This information has been made available on the official RPSC website.

The interview process will commence on December 1 and continue until December 12. During this period, candidates will receive details regarding the interview date, reporting time, and venue on their admit cards.

Essential Documents for the Interview

Candidates are required to bring two copies of the online application form they submitted. Additionally, original documents, two photocopies, and a recent passport-sized photograph are mandatory. Any candidate failing to present these documents will not be allowed to participate in the interview.

How to Download the Admit Card

The RPSC will soon release the admit cards. Candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the official website and entering their roll number along with their date of birth or password. The admit card will contain comprehensive details about the interview date, time, and location.

Interview Schedule for Other Recruitment

RPSC Secretary Ramniwas Mehta has announced that interviews for the Geography Assistant Professor (2023) in college education will take place from December 1 to 12. The interview for the Assistant Agriculture Officer (2018) will be held from December 1 to 11, while the Medical Education Assistant Professor (2021) interview is scheduled for December 12.

Significance of RAS Interview Scores

The RAS interview carries a total of 100 marks. The final merit list is prepared by combining the scores from both the mains and the interview, which is crucial for candidate selection and final ranking.

Types of Questions in the Interview

Questions will primarily focus on Rajasthan's history, geography, culture, state administration, and current affairs, both national and international. Additionally, situational questions and inquiries based on the candidates' written responses may also be posed.
