Starting today, March 24, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will hold the State Board Class 10 exam for the academic year 2022-23. The first paper, Punjab-A, Punjab History, and Culture-A, will be conducted today, and the exams will conclude on April 20, according to the schedule. Each exam will take three hours, from 10 AM to 1 PM, and specially-abled students will have an additional 20 minutes. Students must bring their admit cards to the examination centre for all days of the exam, and it is suggested that they arrive one hour prior to the start of the exam.

In addition, students are advised to bring their class 10 hall ticket, school identity card, and valid ID proof on the day of the exam; these documents are required to take the test. Students should not bring any electronic gadgets such as smartwatches, calculators, or mobile phones to the exam hall, and only a transparent water bottle and personal stationary items are permitted.

Regarding the class 12 board exams, PSEB has changed the date for the environmental education exam (Code 139), which was previously scheduled for March 6, to April 21. This decision was made in light of the Hola Mahalla celebrations from March 8 to March 10 across the state. The class 12 board exams began on March 20 and will conclude on April 20. The PSEB class 12 theory exam will be held in the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5.15 pm, and the school heads and centre superintendents have been instructed to inform the students of the new schedule.
