Problems of schools will be registered on toll free number

Complaints will now be lodged at the toll-free number to address the problems of teachers and school in the Basic Education Department. Regarding all the problems and complaints received on the toll free at the government level, the 15-member team has been entrusted with the responsibility of effective implementation of the scheme.

The district has 1516 primary and upper primary schools. About one lakh ten thousand children are studying in it. Teachers keep going around the office to solve their problems. The Basic Education Department has issued a toll-free number for redressal of grievances.

At present, on the toll free number 1800–180-666, arrangements have been made to register complaints and problems by teachers, staff, parents and village heads along with various services and schemes including Prerna, Diksha. The department will report the progress to the complainant along with the disposal of the complaint. The department has indicated to improve it further in future. The teachers will get a lot of relief from this toll free number. Meanwhile, BSA Chandana Ram Iqbal said that a toll-free number has been issued from the state project director’s office for redressal of complaints. Its implementation exercise has been started in the district.
