The National Testing Agency (NTA) is geared up to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) across various exam centers nationwide on May 5, 2024. The results are anticipated to be declared by the second week of June 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET UG 2024

Candidates seeking to appear for this graduate medical entrance examination need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• Minimum Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.

• Maximum Age Limit: There is no maximum age limit for the NEET exam.

• Citizenship: Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and foreign nationals can appear for the examination.

• Marks: The passing percentage in the 12th grade varies as per category - General Category: 50%, OBC/SC/ST: 40%, PwD: 40% for NEET 2024.

• Other Requirements: Applicants must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with main subjects as Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English from a recognized board. Candidates currently in the 12th grade or equivalent are also eligible to apply for NEET.
