News of relief to the students applying for scholarship, Directorate of Education released the list

 

Employment News-This time the Directorate of Education has got the names of more than 10 thousand students in the scholarship given by the Delhi government to the students of class IX to 12 studying in government and aided schools under the Chief Minister Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana. The Directorate of Education has issued instructions in this regard through a circular that for the session 2020-21, the names of 10126 students of SC, ST and OBC categories have been received from government and aided schools. The list of all the students has been released.

In this regard, the directorate directed the principals of the schools to check the Aadhar card, bank account of the students included in the list once. If any student is not eligible in this list, then the Principals will have to inform the Directorate of Education. The directorate also clarified that if no information is received from the principals regarding the improvement in this list, then considering the list as final, the amount given to the students under the scholarship will be sent to their bank.

Hundred days reading campaign for class VIII students

Students of nursery to class VIII in government schools of the capital will now take part in a hundred-day reading campaign. The Directorate of Education has said that the campaign was launched by the Central Government from January 1, which aims to improve the creativity, critical thinking and ability of students to express their vocabulary in oral and written form. The State Council of Educational Research and Training has started this from January 17 for the students of Nursery to VIII in government schools.
