The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2023 registration process will come to a close tomorrow, April 15. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions across the country can register for the entrance exam on the official NEET National Testing Agency (NTA) website at neet.nta.nic.in. The exam is scheduled to take place on May 7 for a duration of 3 hours and 20 minutes, from 2.00 PM to 5.20 PM. NEET UG will be held in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, and Urdu.

To apply for NEET UG 2023, candidates need to meet certain eligibility criteria. Students who have completed 17 years of age (at the time of admission) or will complete on or before December 31 during their admission to the first year can apply. There is no upper age limit for the exam. Students who are currently appearing or have passed class 12th board exams with physics, biology, chemistry, or biotechnology with English as the prime subject from a recognized board are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Candidates can apply for NEET UG 2023 by following a few simple steps. They need to visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in and click on the "NEET (UG) 2023 Registration" link available on the homepage. After registering, they can proceed with the application form, fill up all the necessary details, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee. Once they have submitted the form, they should keep a printout of it for future reference.

The application fee for NEET UG 2023 varies according to the category of the candidate. General category candidates need to pay Rs 1,700 as an application fee, while general EWS, OBC-NCL category applicants need to pay Rs 1,600. Those from the SC, ST, PwBD, and third gender categories will have to pay Rs 1,000. Candidates from outside the country need to pay Rs 9,500.

NTA has extended the application deadline for NEET UG 2023 after receiving representations from aspirants. The decision was made to support the student community who could not complete their registration due to various unavoidable reasons.
