The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently announced the dates for aspiring candidates in Manipur who wish to apply for NEET-UG, CUET-UG, and CUET-PG 2023. This decision was made after a thorough assessment of the law and order situation in the northeastern state. The NEET-UG 2023 examination will be conducted offline, using pen and paper, from June 3 to June 5. On the other hand, for CUET-UG 2023, the NTA has proposed a computer-based test, which will take place between June 5 and June 8. Candidates opting for CUET-PG 2023 will also have a computer-based test, scheduled from June 5 to June 17.

In light of the circumstances, students from Manipur have been provided with the opportunity to change their exam city. This option aims to assist those who do not wish to compromise their academic progress due to the prevailing law and order situation. Candidates can update their exam venue by downloading fresh admit cards indicating the revised location. However, please note that the change in exam city is only available for candidates from Manipur. The following cities have been designated as alternative exam centers:

Aizawl (Mizoram)
Kohima/Dimapur (Nagaland)
Shillong (Meghalaya)
Guwahati (Assam)
Jorhat (Assam)
Silchar (Assam)
Kolkata (West Bengal)
Delhi
Bengaluru (Karnataka)
Imphal (Manipur)

To avail themselves of the option to change their exam city, Manipur candidates can utilize the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) facility. This facility will be accessible from May 28 to May 30 until 7 pm. Each candidate will receive a message regarding this facility on their registered mobile number, which was used during the online application process for the respective exams. The registered mobile number must be used to access the IVRS facility.

Alternatively, candidates from Manipur can contact or visit the office of the concerned city coordinator in any of the aforementioned cities to request a change in their exam city. The city coordinators will provide a consolidated list of interested Manipur candidates, including their application number, exam name, and preferred exam city. Upon receiving the city change requests through any of these channels, the NTA will issue fresh admit cards via the official exam portals. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for any changes in the procedure or to download their admit cards.
