MCM DAV College to provide free further education to cricketer Harleen Deol

MCM DAV College-36 has announced to provide further studies of BA final year student and cricketer Harleen Deol free of cost. He is being praised everywhere for taking a historic catch in the T20 match against England on Saturday.

College Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava told on Sunday that the institute is extremely proud of Harleen’s achievement. The institute will honor Harleen and her family with cash prizes, citations and further education free of cost.

He informed that Harleen was also honored by Dr. Kiran Bedi, the then Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry during the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the college in 2018. It is a matter of pride for Harleen along with Harleen to receive praise from Indian cricket stalwarts like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman for taking the historic catch during the Women’s T20 cricket match between India and England in Northampton.

The Indian cricket team, including Harleen Deol, has three college students. These include Tania Bhatia and Riddhima. The entire DAV community congratulated Harleen for her stellar performance.
