Maharashtra govt to recruit 30,000 teachers: Minister

According to Maharashtra's Minister for School Education, Deepak Kesarkar, approximately 30,000 teachers are set to be hired in the state, with the recruitment process likely to follow the existing reservation norms and involve interviews. The minister revealed this information in an interview with a regional news channel on Tuesday.

He stated that the state school education department plans to hire 30,000 teachers in the first stage, with a goal of completing the process before the start of the new academic year in June. Additionally, the state intends to recruit a further 20,000 teachers in the second stage, with the exact number to be determined after the completion of Aadhaar verification of the students.
