Introducing the India Reimagined Fellowship

Blockchain For Impact (BFI) has unveiled the ‘India Reimagined Fellowship’, a distinguished global initiative aimed at attracting top-tier scientific and professional talent to India. This program is focused on addressing significant challenges in the fields of biomedical science and public health. The fellowship aims to empower a diverse group of researchers, entrepreneurs, clinicians, and innovators to create sustainable "impact engines" that effectively tackle urgent healthcare issues in the country.


Each fellow selected for this program will be awarded a grant totaling $300,000, distributed over three years. This financial support is designed to cover various expenses, including relocation, salary, project costs, laboratory infrastructure, staffing, equipment, and other approved research-related expenditures.


Program Details: The fellowship is exclusively available through institutional nominations. In this current cycle, a maximum of three fellowships will be granted, with one fellow designated per host institution. Applications are being accepted continuously.


Host institutions must possess FCRA approval or be exempted and are responsible for providing comprehensive infrastructure and administrative support to facilitate the fellow’s successful integration and research execution.


Fellows are expected to commit fully to their roles in India for the entire duration of the fellowship, aiming for ambitious and scalable results.
