KVS Class 1 Admission Registration to Start Soon: Here's How to Apply

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has announced the registration date for admission to Class 1 for the academic year 2024-2025. Registration will commence from April 1, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM. Parents can fill out the online application form for admission through the official KVS website.

Admission Process and Sections of Application Form:
The admission application form has been divided into five sections: Basic Information, Parent's Details, Preference of Schools, and another section including documents. Admission will be conducted through an entrance examination. There are a total of 1254 Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country.

Required Documents for Registration:

• Indian SIM card along with a valid mobile number.
• Valid email ID.
• A scanned photograph of the child (maximum size 256KB in JPEG format).
• A scanned copy of the child's birth certificate (maximum size 256KB in PDF format).
• If applying under the economically weaker section, proof of income is required.

Important Note for Parents:
Parents should note that the registration form will only be considered submitted once they receive the application submission code from the online admission portal. For further information, visit the KVS website.

Previous Admission Process and Age Criteria:
Previously, the admission process for Class 1 took place from March 27 to April 17. Children applying for admission to Class 1 should be at least 6 years old. The announcement for admission to classes 6 to 11 may be made soon. Currently, a total of 1,400,632 students are studying in 1254 Kendriya Vidyalayas. KVS has only announced the registration date so far. The date for the entrance examination will be issued later.
