What is Keraleeyam? The annual Keraleeyam festival aims to showcase Kerala's outstanding attributes to the global community. It is an event held each year to honor the progress and achievements of Kerala. This year, Keraleeyam, taking place from November 1 to November 7, will delve into the remarkable journey of Kerala's progress over recent decades.
The Keraleeyam project includes discussions on Kerala's achievements, the challenges it faces in different areas, and its future prospects. It also features exhibitions highlighting the state's unique resources, cultural heritage, agro-industrial advancements, and technological innovations. This program provides a platform for disseminating Kerala's development paradigms globally and absorbing new ideas from the international academic community.
During November 1 to 7, Thiruvananthapuram City will host 24 international seminars at seven different venues. These conferences will cover the agenda for Kerala's development in the next 25 years and the policies that need to be implemented.
An exhibition showcasing Kerala's modernity and tradition will be set up along the stretch from Vellayambalam to East Fort (Kizhakkekotta). Renowned international experts will lead development-focused lectures, and leading Keralites from around the world will be invited and honored at the events. Additionally, representatives from the panchayat level will be hosted in the capital city.
