The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has recently announced revised dates for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024 for MBA and MCA courses. Here are the updated details:

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Exam Date for MBA/MCA:

  • New Date: August 4, 2024
  • Previous Dates: Originally scheduled for July 13 and 14, 2024, but postponed due to university semester exams.

Concerns and Potential Postponement:

  • There have been concerns raised by candidates about the clash of the Karnataka PGCET exam date (August 4, 2024) with the UPSC CAPF exam and ongoing university semester exams, particularly those of Karnataka University Dharwad (KUD).
  • KUD's 6th semester exams are scheduled from July 26 to August 12, 2024, overlapping with the revised PGCET date.
  • Given these concerns and potential conflicts, there is speculation about the possibility of KEA considering another postponement of the PGCET exam to alleviate stress and inconvenience among aspirants. However, no official announcement regarding further changes has been made yet.

Karnataka PGCET Admit Cards 2024:

  • Admit cards for Karnataka PGCET 2024 will be available for download starting from July 27, 2024, onwards.
  • Candidates must visit the official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea to download their admit cards.
  • In case of any changes to the exam date, KEA will update the schedule for issuing admit cards accordingly.

Advice to Candidates:

  • Aspirants are advised to stay updated with official notifications from KEA regarding any further changes to the Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam schedule.
  • Preparation should continue as per the current schedule unless notified otherwise by KEA.
