JNVST Class 6 Admission 2025: How to Register, Important Dates

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has officially opened the registration for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2025 for Class 6 students. Starting from July 17, 2024, eligible students can fill out the admission form for the 2025–2026 academic year by visiting the official website. The deadline to submit the JNVST application form is September 16, 2024. The selection test will be conducted in two phases on January 18, 2025, and April 12, 2025, across various states.

JNVST Class 6 Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, students must ensure they meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Date of Birth: Students must be born between May 1, 2013, and July 31, 2015.
• Educational Qualification: Students should have completed Class 5 in the 2024-25 school year. Repeaters are not eligible.
• Rural Candidates: A significant portion of the seats are reserved for rural students. To qualify, students must have studied in government or recognized rural schools for Classes 3, 4, and 5 and must have completed Class 5 in the district where they seek admission.
• Urban Candidates: Students will be considered urban if they have attended even one day of school in an urban area during Classes 3, 4, and 5.
• NIOS Students: Candidates from the National Institute of Open Schooling must provide a rural status certificate proving three years of residence and study in rural areas.

3. Register: Complete the registration by providing the necessary information.
4. Submit Documents: Upload the relevant documents and pay the application fee.
5. Final Submission: Submit the completed application form and print a copy for future reference.

JNVST Class 6 Admission 2025: Documents Required

• Certificate signed by parent & candidate and verified by Headmaster
• If the candidate does not have an Aadhaar number, a parent’s residence certificate issued by a qualified government authority must be submitted.
