JEE Main 2023: Bombay HC to Hear Plea On 75% Eligibility Criteria in Engineering Entrance Today

The National Testing Agency (NTA) and University Grants Commission (UGC) are expected to announce the registration dates for the UGC NET 2023 June Session soon. Although the exact date has not yet been revealed, historical trends suggest that registration will likely begin in the first week of May. Candidates can apply for the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, once the registration link is activated. The UGC NET 2023 June Session will take place from June 13 to June 22 in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The UGC NET cut-off announcement has set the minimum qualifying score at 40% for the general category and 35% for the reserved category. The total number of slots will be allocated based on the Indian government's reservation policy. M Jagadesh Kumar, the Chairman of the UGC, announced the UGC NET June session dates on December 30. The UGC NET is a national-level eligibility test for the "Assistant Professor" or "Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor Programme" positions in Indian universities and colleges, held twice a year in June and December.

To register for the UGC NET June 2023 Session, candidates should follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Visit the NTA’s official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in once the registration link has been activated.

Step 2: Click the “Register Here" option on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter the necessary information such as phone number/email address and login using the OTP.

Step 4: Fill out the registration form and upload scanned copies of relevant documents such as photograph and signature.

Step 5: Pay the application fee for the UGC NET 2023 June Session.

Step 6: Submit the application form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
