The JEE Advanced exam syllabus has been updated for 2023, with experts suggesting that it will align with the JEE Main syllabus. The Joint Admissions Body (JAB) has included more chapters in the JEE Advanced syllabus, and candidates can find the new syllabus for physics, chemistry, and math on the official website. To be eligible for the JEE Advanced 2023 exam, candidates must belong to the top 2,50,000 successful candidates across all categories in the BE/BTech Paper of JEE Main 2023. The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has already closed the online application window for JEE Advanced 2023.

Regarding changes to the syllabus, the mathematics syllabus now includes statistics while the solution of the triangle has been removed. In the physics syllabus, semiconductors and communications have been excluded, while some JEE Main topics, including forced and damped oscillations, EM waves, and polarization, have been added. Although students promoted to class 11 and preparing for JEE Advanced 2023 will have to follow a larger syllabus, the JEE Advanced syllabus has been aligned with JEE Main and CBSE.

For those preparing directly for JEE Advanced, a change of strategy is required to cover new topics previously not included in the syllabus. Despite the increased syllabus, experts believe that the exam may become easier, and studious students will not face significant challenges.

Additionally, those aspiring to study design and related courses from IITs will need to prepare for the entrance exam based on a new format. A new paper pattern and syllabus have been introduced for the CEED and UCEED design entrance exams, but the changes will not take effect until 2024. The entrance exam will consist of two parts, Part A and Part B, with Part A administered through a computer-based test and Part B consisting of two questions on drawing and design aptitude.
