Bihar STET 2026 Exam Date Rescheduled

For candidates preparing for the Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026, there is a significant update. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has postponed the STET exam originally scheduled for November 4. The new date for the examination is now set for November 21, 2026. Additionally, the board has provided information regarding the release date of the admit cards. Due to this sudden change in the exam schedule, candidates may have several questions. Therefore, it is advised that they keep an eye on the revised exam schedule and details related to the admit cards.

Reason for the Change in STET Exam Date

The primary reason for rescheduling the Bihar STET 2026 exam is the clash with examinations conducted by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), both of which are also set for November 4. To prevent candidates from facing difficulties by having to attend multiple exams on the same day and to reduce congestion at examination centers, the decision was made to postpone the STET exam. However, the board has confirmed that there will be no changes to the schedule of other exams for STET 2026, which will proceed as planned.
