IIT Ropar Announces Summer Internship Opportunities for 2024; Deadline for Applications March 24

Applications are now open for the summer internship programs at the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar (IIT Ropar). These internships are available across various departments of the institute. Interested candidates can apply to different departments separately through the official website iitrpr.ac.in. The deadline to register for the internship is March 24.

Internship Duration and Dates: The summer internships at IIT Ropar will span from five to eight weeks, commencing on May 15 and concluding on July 15.

Application Process: During the registration process for the offline internship, candidates must select their preferred department. While applicants can choose up to three research supervisors in the application form, they must complete their internship within a single department under one supervisor.

Selection Criteria: Departments at IIT Ropar will set criteria for selection and create a merit list according to the required number of interns.

Hostel Accommodation: Hostel accommodation will be provided to interns on a sharing basis, subject to availability. However, charges will be levied for this accommodation. Interns interested in applying for hostel accommodation after selection must submit their application to the Dean of Student Affairs through their faculty supervisor and the Head of Department for approval.
