A heartbreaking incident occurred at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad, when a student, Karthik (21), who had been missing since last week, was discovered deceased on Tuesday. His lifeless body was found on a beach in Visakhapatnam. Authorities are suspecting suicide as the cause of his death. In response to the situation, the police transported Karthik's body to King George Hospital for an autopsy and have initiated a thorough investigation.

Karthik, a second-year B. Tech (Mechanical) student, had left the campus on July 17, and his phone was subsequently switched off.
