The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the July 2023 session admission. Interested and eligible candidates now have until October 10 to complete their registration for IGNOU's Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes. The registration process can be done through the official websites: ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

Extension of Admission Deadline

IGNOU shared the update on their microblogging site, X (formerly Twitter), stating, "The last date for 'Fresh Admission for all programmes offered in ODL/Online mode except certificate programmes for the July 2023 session has been extended again till 10th October 2023." The previous deadline for the July session admission was set at September 30.
 

Applicants must ensure they have the following documents ready as prerequisites for online form submission:

• A passport-sized photograph (with a file size of under 100 KB)
• Your digital signature (also under 100 KB)
• Copies of relevant educational certificates (under 200 KB)
• A copy of any experience certificate (if applicable, under 200 KB)
• A category certificate copy in cases of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Other Backward Caste status (again under 200 KB)

Follow these steps to complete your IGNOU July 2023 admission registration:

Step 1: Visit the official IGNOU website — ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in or ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

Step 2: Register yourself on the portal.

Step 3: Fill in the admission form with your relevant details.

Step 4: Pay the required fees and submit your application.

Step 5: Download and print a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

The process for IGNOU July 2023 re-registration commenced on May 8 through the Samarth portal. Students have the opportunity to enroll online for various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degree programmes, as well as postgraduate certificate (PG certificate), postgraduate diploma (PGD), certificate, and diploma programs for the July 2023 session.
