Honoring Sacrifice: Class 7 NCERT Adds Chapter on National War Memorial

A chapter on 'National War Memorial - A Tribute to our Brave Soldiers' has been included in the Class 7 NCERT syllabus from this year, the Defense Ministry said on Monday. The initiative, jointly undertaken by the defense and education ministries, aims to inculcate "patriotism, devotion to duty and the values of courage and sacrifice" among school children and increase youth participation in nation building.
