The Department of Medical Education and Research in Haryana has recently unveiled the provisional merit list for the Haryana NEET UG 2023 round 1. According to the official notification, students who have been granted seats for MBBS and BDS programs are required to submit their tuition fees by August 4th. In an effort to facilitate student admissions, the Haryana government has introduced a standardized fee structure for MBBS and BDS courses offered by private medical colleges across the state. This measure aims to prevent any unauthorized additional charges imposed by these institutions.

This decision comes after a series of complaints were lodged by students and parents against certain private medical colleges, accusing them of arbitrarily levying exorbitant fees for MBBS and BDS programs, ranging from Rs 60 to 70 lakhs. Responding to this situation, the Haryana government took proactive steps to regulate the fee structure. The fixed fee structure will apply to a total of 1835 MBBS seats and 950 BDS seats within the state.

Dr. Sumita Mishra, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Haryana Medical Education and Research Department, issued an official notice outlining the fee details. For MBBS aspirants, the annual tuition fees will range from Rs 14.25 lakh to Rs 19.50 lakh. Similarly, students seeking admission to BDS courses will need to pay between Rs 1.95 lakh and Rs 4 lakh per year. Additionally, a security deposit of Rs 2 lakh for MBBS and Rs 50,000 for BDS will also be required.

Important dates for applicants to keep in mind include the document verification process scheduled from August 5 to August 7. The link to download the admission allotment letter will remain active until August 8. It's worth noting that the round 1 Haryana NEET counseling for 2023 serves as the primary gateway for securing admission to MBBS and BDS programs offered by government, government-affiliated, private medical, and dental institutes across the state. The Haryana NEET UG counseling merit list 2023 encompasses allotment results for a total of 5,089 students.
