GATE 2024: Application Correction Window Opens Today, Last Chance to Modify Application

The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, has announced that the modification window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 application is now open. Candidates who have filled the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) application form and wish to make corrections in certain sections can do so by visiting the official website gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

Application Fee for Modifications: The areas where modifications can be made include category, photograph, signature, educational information, address, and the paper for which candidates are applying. The modification fee varies based on the changes made. For alterations in name, date of birth, examination city, and paper, a fee of Rs. 500 will be applicable. Changing gender or category incurs a fee of Rs. 1400.

Important Dates: The modification window is open from November 7, 2023, to November 11, 2023. Candidates are advised to make any necessary changes during this period, as no modifications will be allowed after the specified dates.

GATE 2024 Exam Dates: The GATE 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The exam will be computer-based and will take place in two sessions each day. The morning session will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and the afternoon session will be from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

How to Modify the Application:

1. Visit the official website gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
2. Click on the GOAPS portal link.
3. Enter your email ID and password on the new page.
4. Click on the "Edit Application Form" option.
5. Make the necessary changes and click on the submit button.
