Farmer's daughter tops in Bihar board 12th result

The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) has recently released the results for the class 12 or inter-board exams for the year 2023.
 

The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) has recently released the results for the class 12 or inter-board exams for the year 2023. The pass percentage for the exam stands at 83.7%, with results being declared for the arts, commerce, and science streams. In the arts stream, 82.74% of students passed, while in the commerce stream, 93.35% of students cleared the exam. In the science stream, 83.93% of students passed.

BSEB has also announced the toppers list, with Kumari Pragya from Purnia securing the second position in the state in the arts stream. She studied at Madhav Public High School, Kunwari and had to travel five kilometers daily to reach her school. Despite facing financial hardships, her parents always prioritized her education. Now, Pragya aspires to become an IAS officer and wants to prepare for the UPSC civil services exam.

Similarly, Bhumi Kumari secured the second rank in the state in the commerce stream with a score of 474 out of 500. Her father works as an auto driver, and their family faced financial challenges, but they never let it affect their children's education. Bhumi was inspired by her father's hard work and wishes to make him proud.

Payal, a student from JNKT Inter High School, Khagaria, also excelled in her class 12 exams despite facing financial difficulties. Her father is the sole breadwinner of the family, but he never let financial constraints affect her education. Payal had previously secured high scores in her class 10 board exams as well.

Nisha, who lives in a slum on the outskirts of the VVIP area of Patna, passed the exam with flying colors. She lives in a small hut but has big dreams and worked hard to achieve them.

The BSEB has announced various rewards for the toppers, with the first rank holders of each stream receiving Rs. 1 lakh, a laptop, and a Kindle e-book reader. The second and third rank holders will receive Rs. 75,000, a laptop, and a Kindle e-book reader. Students securing fourth, fifth, and sixth positions in all three streams will receive a laptop and Rs. 15,000. Anand Kishore, chairman of the board, made the announcement.
