If the Coronavirus has affected the most, then it is the education system, whether it is a school, college or university and educational institution. This corona has affected every field of education. Corona has seen the most impact on the education of government schools, many programs of online education were run by the education department to ensure that the education of government schools should not be affected, but to reach online education to remote rural parts and poor sections. The biggest challenge was for the education department. Doordarshan and All India Radio were used by the Education Department to deliver educational materials to the children who did not have access to mobile phones. At the same time, the work of providing education to these children was done by the Education Department through many other mediums.

During the Corona period, providing online education to the children of Government Schools was a big challenge for the Education Department, but this challenge was also overcome by the Education Department through its various efforts. The children who did not have access to online classes, were taught by the teachers from door to door. If we talk about the data of the Education Department, then out of more than 75 lakh students studying in government schools, about 41 percent were able to connect with the online education of the child. At the same time, about 58 percent of the children were taught door-to-door by the teachers under the Aao Ghar Se Learn 2.0 program.

To provide online education to the children, Doordarshan, All India Radio, Back to School, Aao Ghar Se Seekhe, Aao Ghar Se Seekhe 2.0, did the work of delivering education under the Smile Project program to provide online education to the children. Along with this, the Smile 3.0 program was started from June 21. Under this program, online material was delivered to the students as soon as 8 o’clock in the morning. Along with this, work was done by the education department to reach the children through e-classroom, education philosophy, mission Samarth.

Under this program, there has been a network problem in the areas or the children should be away from the reach of the mobile. In such areas, teachers reach home and teach the children. Along with this, those areas are also identified where a large number of students live and there is no facility of online classes. This program has also received appreciation from many states of the country.

Doordarshan and All India Radio- During Corona, the slots of Doordarshan and All India Radio were taken by the Education Department. Educational material was made available by the Education Department in the slot. The child continued his studies through Doordarshan and All India Radio.

Recently, a committee of five ministers has been constituted by the government to give their suggestions regarding the opening of schools. Although a meeting has been organized by the committee and soon its report will be submitted to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and after that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will take the final decision to open the schools. In such a situation, there is still doubt about how long the schools will open, but if the third wave of possible corona shows its wrath, then the education department seems completely sound about its preparations. In the coming time, the education department has intensified the exercise at various levels regarding online education, due to which education can be reached to the children who are still deprived of education.
