B.V.Sc & A.H Programme	Candidates must have completed or be appearing for the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination with PCB Group, including Biotechnology and English.
M.V.Sc and Ph.D (Veterinary Science) Programme	Candidates must have completed or be appearing for the B.V.Sc & A.H Programme.
B.Tech Biotechnology	Candidates must have completed or be appearing for the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination with PCB Group and English, achieving a minimum of 60% marks (General/OBC) and 55% marks (SC/ST).
Bachelor of Technology (Dairy Technology)	Candidates must have completed or be appearing for the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination with PCB Group and English, achieving a minimum of 60% marks (General/OBC) and 55% marks (SC/ST).
Bachelor of Fisheries Science	Candidates must have completed or be appearing for the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination with PCB Group and English, achieving a minimum of 60% marks (General/OBC) and 55% marks (SC/ST).
M.Sc (Biotechnology) / M.V.Sc (Biotechnology) / Ph.D (Biotechnology)	Candidates must have a B.Sc with Zoology, Chemistry, Botany, or B.Sc (Biotechnology) / B.Tech in Biotech / M.V.Sc & A.H / B.Sc (Agriculture) / B.Sc (Fisheries) with a minimum of 60% marks (General/OBC) and 55% marks (SC/ST).
Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy & Livestock Extension in Institute of Para-Veterinary Sciences	Candidates must have completed or be appearing for the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination with PCB Group and English, achieving a minimum of 50% marks (General/OBC) and 45% marks (SC/ST).
