Digital Education: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reviews ‘E-Vidya’ and ‘N-Dear’, know the main things

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reviewed the Digital Education Initiative program of the Ministry of Education on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. In this meeting the officials discussed PM e-VIDYA, National Digital Education Architecture (NDEAR), SWAYAM and other initiatives. Annapurna Devi, Minister of State for Education; Rajkumar Ranjan Singh and Dr. Subhash Sarkar also participated. The Union Minister gave this information on his Twitter handle. Union Education Minister Pradhan tweeted, PM reviewed the digital initiatives of the Ministry of Education including e-VIDYA and National Digital Education Architecture (N-Dear). Leverage technology to make new age education open, inclusive and accessible.

Talking about the importance of leveraging technology in education, the Minister said that technology will definitely help in achieving the goals. The goals of the ministry include making education open, inclusive and accessible to all. Pradhan further said, the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a shift towards digital medium of education. The digital initiatives taken during this period will be further strengthened and institutionalised.

In the
meeting discussed about the digital ecosystem , Pradhan also discussed the digital ecosystem with the officials. The Minister stressed that the vibrant ecosystem in digital mode for education will also enhance the entrepreneurship sector. A vibrant digital ecosystem in education will expand learning opportunities for students, foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the education sector, he tweeted.
