CSAB 2024 - Registration & Choice Filling (Started), Seat Allotment & Cutoff, Reporting, Dates

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has commenced registration for the CSAB 2024 special round counselling to fill vacant seats in the NIT+ System. The registration window opened on July 31, 2024, and the last date to register is August 2, 2024. Interested candidates can complete their registration on the official website: csab.nic.in.

How to Apply for CSAB Special Round Registration 2024

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to csab.nic.in.
  2. Select the CSAB Special Round: On the homepage, click on “Go to CSAB Special”.
  3. Access Registration: Click on “Online Registration and Choice Filling for CSAB Special Round”.
  4. Fill Out Registration Form: Complete the online registration form with the required details.
  5. Submit Registration: After filling the form, pay the required registration fee and click “Submit”.
  6. Save Confirmation: Save the confirmation page for future reference.

Registration Fees

  • PwD/SC/ST Candidates: Rs 25,000 (includes a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 5,000).
  • General/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL Candidates: Rs 45,000 (includes a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 5,000).

Important Dates

  • Registration Window: July 31, 2024 - August 2, 2024
  • CSAB Special Round 1 Seat Allocation Result: August 5, 2024

Important Information

  • Candidates who participated in DASA-2024 are ineligible for the CSAB special rounds unless they withdraw their DASA-2024 seat by the specified deadline.
  • Approximately 41,000 out of 42,200 seats were allocated in the first five rounds of JoSAA counselling, with about 28,700 candidates accepting their seats. The remaining seats will be filled through the CSAB Special Round Counselling.
