COMEDK 2024 Counselling Phase 2: New Dates Announced, Check the Details
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has once again revised the dates for Round 2 Phase 2 counselling. Previously, the last date for seat acceptance was August 14, 2024. However, the new deadline for seat acceptance and fee payment has been extended to August 19, 2024, till 4 PM. Candidates who are shortlisted in this round must report to their allotted colleges by August 22, 2024. COMEDK Round 2 Counselling 2024: Overview
This round of counselling is specifically for students who either didn’t secure a seat in Round 1 or want to upgrade their seat allocation.
Steps to Register for COMEDK 2024 Round 2 Counselling
- Visit the Official Website: Go to comedk.org.
- Counselling Registration: Click on the ‘Counselling Registration’ tab.
- Pay the Tuition Fee: Pay the fee of Rs 5,000 using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
- Document Upload: Click on the ‘Document Upload’ tab and upload all required documents for verification.
- Save a Copy: Take a printout or screenshot of the form for future reference.
Note: Only candidates whose document verification is completed will be eligible for further steps in the counselling process.

- Class 12 or Equivalent Marksheet
- SC/ST/OBC Certificate from Tahsildar or above (if applicable)
- Tulu Minority Certificate (if applicable)
- Religious Minority Certificate (Christian)
- HKR Eligibility Certificate
- Karnataka Domicile Certificate
- Parents’ Study Proof in Karnataka for 7 Years
- Candidate’s Study Proof in Karnataka for 7 Years, including Class 10 or 12 in Karnataka
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have appeared and cleared the COMEDK UGET 2024 examination.
- Applicants must have passed their Class 12 examination or equivalent from a recognized board.
- General Category: Minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer.
- SC, ST, OBC of Karnataka State: Minimum of 40% marks in the above subjects.
