The Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) is gearing up to declare the Class 12 board exam results for the state board soon. As per reports, the CHSE Odisha Class 12 results will be announced by the end of May. The School and Mass Education Minister of Odisha, Samir Ranjan Dash, has recently revealed that the evaluation process for Class 12 exams will conclude by May 7, and the results for all streams will be released by the end of May. Candidates who appeared for the Class 12 science, arts, and commerce stream examination can access their results by visiting chseodisha.nic.in or orissaresults.nic.in. The Odisha CHSE Board Class 12 mark sheet can also be obtained from the respective schools.

The Class 12 exams for science stream started on March 1, while the exams for commerce and arts streams were held on March 2 at designated exam centres across the state. The exams for science and commerce streams concluded on April 4, whereas the arts stream papers ended on April 5. Along with the result declaration, CHSE will also announce the toppers for 2023. The mark sheet for Class 12th will include details like the student’s name, date of birth (DoB), subject-wise marks secured, overall marks, qualifying status, and more. Candidates who do not qualify the exam will get another chance to appear for the supplementary exam, and the schedule for the same will be announced in August.

In other news, due to the heatwave in Odisha, morning classes for students from classes 1 to 12 have been rescheduled to start from 7 am to 11.30 am. Schools have been instructed to provide drinking water and other facilities to combat the heat. The School and Mass Education department has also rescheduled the time for disbursement of pensions to beneficiaries of various social security schemes between 7.30 am and 10.30 am.
