CBSE Class 12 Result 2023: Re-Evaluation, Verification Process Begins May 16. Check Fee, How To Apply

The CBSE has announced the class 12 results for the year 2023. The re-evaluation, photocopy, and answer sheet verification process for class 12 will be activated on Tuesday, May 16. The board has also stated that the supplementary exams will be conducted in July, with the exact dates to be notified soon. Students who appeared for arts, science, and commerce streams can check their results on the official websites of the board, cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in, once the link is activated. This year, 87.33% of students cleared the exams. Those who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation by paying a fee of Rs. 100 per question. For obtaining a photocopy of the mark sheet, students will have to pay Rs. 700, and for answer sheet re-verification, Rs. 500. It is important to note that the fee paid for these services will not be refunded.

To check the CBSE class 12 result, students need to follow these steps:

  • Go to the CBSE website cbse.gov.in or cbseresults.nic.in.
  • Find the ‘Result’ tab on the homepage and click on it.
  • Click on the link for “CBSE 12th Result 2023".
  • Enter your Roll Number and any other necessary information in the login window that opens on the screen.
  • Double-check all the details and then click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • The CBSE Class 12 Board Result 2023 will be displayed on the screen for students in the Arts, Commerce, and Science courses.
  • Download and save the results for future use.

In 2022, the exams were conducted from April 26 to June 15, and the results were declared on July 22. Out of the 14.44 lakh students who registered for the board exams, 13.30 lakh students were able to pass, and the overall pass percentage was 92.71%, which was significantly lower compared to the 2021 passing percentage of 99.37%.
