BSE Odisha To Commence Class 10th Board Examinations From February 20

The Board of Secondary Education Odisha has recently released the schedule for the upcoming class 10 board examinations. According to the official notification, the exams for the 2024 academic cycle will take place from February 20 to March 4, 2024.

According to the official notification, the exams for the 2024 academic cycle will take place from February 20 to March 4, 2024. However, the detailed date sheet will be made available at a later date.

Students are informed that they need to fill their examination forms for the 2024 board exams in the month of October. The evaluation of answer sheets is set to begin from March 12 and will continue for a period of at least 12 days.

In addition to this, the half-yearly board exams for Class 10 and Madhyama will be conducted from September 13 to 16, 2023.

On a separate note, the Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has declared the results of the Matriculation or annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination for the year 2023. Out of the 5,21,444 candidates who appeared for the exam, 5,12,460 students have successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 96.19 per cent. The pass rate for girls stands at 97.05 per cent, whereas for boys, it is 95.75 per cent.

The highest pass percentages were achieved by students from Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur districts, both scoring an impressive 97.99 per cent. Conversely, Malkangiri district recorded the lowest pass percentage at 92.68 per cent.

The examination took place from March 10 to March 20, 2023, with 3218 examination centers across the state. The official announcement of the results was made on May 18, 10 am, at the Board's Cuttack office in the presence of the School and Mass Education Minister Pramila Mallik, along with the Principal Secretary of the Mass Education Department and the Board's President and Secretary.
