Educational Qualifications for Bihar SHS Ophthalmic Assistant 2025



  • Candidates must have completed I.Sc. (Biology or Mathematics) or 10+2 with Biology or Mathematics, along with one of the following:


  • A 2-year Diploma in Optometry, or


  • 2 years of training as an Ophthalmic Assistant at a recognized Government Hospital, following NPCB guidelines.


  • OR


  • Candidates must have completed I.Sc. (Biology or Mathematics) or 10+2 with Biology or Mathematics, and possess a 2-year Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant from a Government, Private, or Semi-Government institute recognized by the Bihar Government.
