CM Yogi hands over job letters to 573 Junior Engineers under Jal Jeevan Mission

 

Lucknow, 30th August | Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is constantly taking feedback from the officials to make the rivers of the state pollution free and clean. Under this, 573 junior engineers selected by Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department are ready to give impetus to the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme in the state. The important responsibility of expediting the Har Ghar Jal Yojana and timely completion of the schemes will be on these young engineers. The department has started a 3-day state level orientation training program for newly selected junior engineers from Monday.

After training, they will be specially sent to districts like Bundelkhand, Vindhya, Prayagraj, Agra, Mathura, Firozabad and Chandauli and posted there to complete the projects at a faster pace than before. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Namami Gange and Principal Secretary Rural Water Supply Department Anurag Srivastava have started a three-day training program for newly selected junior engineers at State Institute of Rural Development at Bakshi Ka Talab from Monday. The training was inaugurated by Balkar Singh, MD, Jal Nigam and Priya Ranjan Kumar, executive director of State Drinking Water and Sanitation Mission.

The officials of the department apprised the newly selected junior engineers about the concept, objectives and components, implementation and strategy of Jal Jeevan Mission plan as well as the challenges faced by them in the field and their solutions. Various technical aspects were also discussed.

Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department have given a special gift of jobs to the youths who are waiting for jobs in the government department. For the first time, the recruitment process for the posts of Junior Engineers has been completed on contract basis in a very fair, systematic and transparent manner.
