39 Accused Arrested for leaking REET 2015 Question Paper
After so many high security alerts during REET Exam 2015, dupers still made out the way of tricking candidates during examination. Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2015 successfully conducted on this Sunday across state, where 8,75,772 candidates appeared for this exam. There was rumor all through the state about the paper leak at the time of exam, but there was no such evidence found during exam. Rajasthan Police has arrested 39 accused for spreading the fake question paper to candidates. In this regard, 13 from Bharatpur, 12 from Jhunjhunu, 8 from Jodhpur Commissionerate, 5 from Nagour and 1 from Dausa were arrested. Among them members of education department, roadways employees, teachers and one surpanch were included.
According to sources accused provided fake papers of REET 2015 through Whatsapp and circulated printed papers and took lakhs of rupees from candidates. Later on it was found that no question which they circulated matched with the questions of original paper.
Police has arrested a dozen of accused from 2 gangs regarding cheating case. Police has recovered 4.5 lakhs rupees, large number of mobile phones, currency counting machine and cheating devices from accused. The main victim, a third grade teacher is still escaped.
5 lakhs rupees per candidate
Gang used to take 5 lakhs rupees from each candidate for deceiving papers available. They replace photo of candidates with their own photo and sit in examination centre in their place, then through Bluetooth they send paper to gang sitting outside the centre, which make paper available to candidates appearing for examination.
3 government employees were suspended
District Collector Ravi Jain has suspended three government employees related with REET 2015 cheating case. He said that in this case employee Rajkumar, Patwari Jitendra and teacher Mukesh Thakur were suspended.
