1227 In-charge education officers regularized

In the schools, 1227 education officers posted as in-charge principal and senior lecturers have been regularized. Deputy Governor Manoj Sinha tweeted that the cases were pending since 2007. With this arrangement, the backlog of cadre of education officers has been completed. Also, the schools have got permanent heads as well.

At the same time, the directorate has taken strict cognizance of the attachment of teachers and officials in the education department. The Joint Directors and Chief Education Officers have been issued circulars that they should not make an attachment without the approval of the Directorate. It has been observed that despite the ban, there have been attachments. It is clarified to the authorities that the attachment should be done only after the approval of the Directorate, even if it is very important. Disciplinary action will be taken against the officer for not doing so.
